Is my data secure?
Your API key, prompts, and images are sent directly to OpenAI using functionality built into your browser (you can check in the page source). No other external services are used. It's up to you if you trust OpenAI.
How can I get an API key?
You need to sign up with OpenAI and then in the API Keys section you can create one. API key is not free.
How much does it cost?
While this app is free, OpenAI API costs money. Please check OpenAI pricing calculator in the "Vision pricing calculator" section. Generating metadata for 1 (one) image should cost you way less than (1 cent).
What do I do with the CSV file?
Simplest thing you can do is to upload it to the microstock agency of your choice, together with images. But much better option is to import this metadata back to your files, for example - using Xpiks or exiftool.
What are the limitations?
1. This app only works with photos and mostly with the ones that are not huge. If you would like to use other file types or any file sizes, you can use auto-keywording plugin in Xpiks.
2. Metadata quality heavily depends on the prompt used. If you would like to use tried and tested service, you can use the aforementioned plugin in Xpiks.
How to experiment with the prompt?
Make sure to have words return json object with title, description and keywords somewhere in the prompt. Otherwise you can change it however you like. These words are needed to create a CSV file correctly.
